Bone tumors are abnormal tissues that may cause destruction and deformity in joints. Bone tumors are encountered in a very wide perspective. They can be benign or malignant. They can originate from bone tissue or may originate from a different tissue and metastasis to the bone. If they are originated from other tissues there are called metastatic tumors. The diagnosis of bone tumor is made by orthopedic doctors followed by examination and tests. After the diagnosis treatment may continue in different departments such as medical oncology, radiology, pathology in a coordinated fashion.
